Heather Menzies‬, ‪The Sound of Music‬, ‪Louisa von Trapp‬, ‪Robert Urich‬‬

On-screen character Heather Menzies-Urich, best known for depicting Louisa von Trapp in the 1965 film The Sound of Music, kicked the bowl Sunday night. She was 68.

Assortment magazine reports:

"Menzies-Urich, the woman of performing specialist Robert Urich, had been beginning late set out to have advancement, as appeared by her child Ryan Urich.

"Urich said his mom passed on Christmas Eve, consolidated by her adolescents and relatives.

"She was an on-screen character, an expressive move performer and adored proceeding with her life less all potential limitations," Urich said. "She was in no anguish yet rather, about a month after her finding of terminal identity tumor, she had enough and took her keep going hurl on this planet at 7:22 pm."

Menzies-Urich was 15 years of age when she was hurled to play one of the seven von Trapp young people.

As the L.A. Times overviews, "Menzies-Urich played Louisa von Trapp, the third-most arranged of the seven Von Trapp kids, in the film change of the Rodgers and Hammerstein melodic that featured Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer."

The melodic won five Academy Awards including best picture.

Her life partner, on-screen character Robert Urich, kicked the compartment in 2002.
